New Memorials

At Cleevely Memorials we have one aim, to produce beautiful memorials in memory of your loved ones.

We are aware of the regulations in all the local churchyards and cemeteries and will advise you regarding what is permitted in your loved ones resting place.

You can choose a memorial:-

  • from a brochure
  • you may see something you like in our extensive showroom
  • you may have seen something in the churchyard or cemetery
  • you may prefer us to help you design a bespoke memorial

Having chosen the shape and material you require, you will then need to consider the inscription.

Our lettering is priced separately to the memorial, this is because we offer clients the choice of how their lettering is carved and prices vary accordingly.

Some memorial masons include an amount of letters in the price of the memorial. If this is the case, the lettering is most likely to be sandblasted. A memorial can be lettered in this way quickly so the inscription is kept to a reasonable cost.

After a deposit has been received, we will be happy to supply either a loan cross or a vase with your loved one’s name on it. This will remain on the grave until the memorial is completed.

All new memorials are fitted with a single anchor system to the National Association of Monumental Masons approved code of practice, regardless of whether it is mandatory in the particular churchyard/cemetery or not.

” The patience and helpful advice given in planning my husband’s headstone has been exemplary. Your dedication and support of all the staff was exceptional.”
